Rio Grande City TX, Gilbert Alaniz, age 30, passed away on Tuesday, December 31, 2019 at Starr County Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on June 05, 1989 in Rio Grande, Texas to Salome Alaniz Jr and Rosa Velia Alaniz of Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his father, Salome Alaniz Jr. He is also survived by his mother, Rosa Velia Alaniz and his sister, Arlinda Alaniz (Tomas Navarro). He is also survived by his son, Gilbert Alaniz Jr., his wife, Daniela Garza. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 02, 2020 at Hernandez Funerals from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm. Viewing continues on Friday January 03, 2020 from 8:00 am to 2:30 pm going to Sacred Heart Church in Escobares at 3:00 pm Burial at La Paz Cemetery at 4:00 pm in Los Alvarez. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
