It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Genoveva Garcia Lopez of Garciasville, Texas who passed away on Wednesday August 18, 2021 at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light candle as a loving gesture for their loved one. Genoveva is preceded in death by her parents, also by her loving husband, Oscar Lopez and her sons, Oscar Javier Lopez, Arnoldo Lopez. She is survived by her children, Maria del Carmen Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Rosa Lopez Beltran and Jose Rolando Lopez, Humberto Antonio Lopez, Eliane Beltran. Survivors also include her 13 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 21, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Sunday August 22, 2021 from 8:30 am to 10:30 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at La Casita Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
