Genoveva Benavides' Obituary
Genoveva Benavides, age 85, passed away on Saturday August 08, 2020 at Baptist Hospital in Harlingen, Texas. She was born on January 03, 1935 in La Gloria, Starr County. She is proceded in death by her parents, Luis Diaz and Guadalupe Perez Diaz also by her husband, Timoteo Benavides. She is survived by her 9 children, survivors also include her 22 grand-children , and her numerous greatgrandchildren. Viewing is going to be held on Friday August 14, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday August 15, 2020 from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm with a chapel service at 2:30 pm follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 3:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
