Francisco Montalvo Jr.'s Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Francisco Montalvo Jr., age, 87, on Friday, January 13, 2023 in California, surrounded by his loving family. Francisco, was a dearly son, father, husband, brother, uncle, grand-father, great grandfather he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on September 16, 1935 in La Casita Ranch, in Starr County, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Francisco Montalvo Sr.,+ and Victoria Lopez Montalvo also by his loving wife, Concepcion Lopez Montalvo+. He is survived by her loving children, Francisco Montalvo III, Elizabeth Montalvo and Belinda Montalvo Gomez, Ruby (Robert) Montalvo Larson. Survivors also include his 7 grandchildren, and 2 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Sunday January 22, 2023 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with a chapel service at 3:00 pm. Follow Burial at La Casita Cemetery at 4:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
