Florencia C. Torres' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Florencia Torres on Thursday, September 15, 2022 at the age, of 91, in Laredo, Texas. Florencia, was a dearly loving, wife, daughter, sister, niece, aunt, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Florencia, was born on July 28, 1931 in La Grulla, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Jose Castillo+ and Gabriela E. Castillo+, and her loving husband, Jose R. Torres+. She is survived by her loving sister, Irene Castillo, and her loving brothers, Adan Castillo, Inocente Castillo and many nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday September 21, 2022 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday September 22, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Los Solis’s Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
