Flavio Gonzalez's Obituary
Flavio Gonzalez, age 71, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2023, at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was born on April 25, 1952, in Rio Grande City, Texas. Flavio, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonel Vera Gonzalez+. He is survived by his mother, Belia L. Gonzalez and his wife, Noemi G. Gonzalez, and his children, Lisa Ann Gonzalez, Cynthia Gonzalez, Shantal Marie Gonzalez, Shallon Gonzalez, Flavio Gonzalez Jr, and Lyndsey Gonzalez. Survivors also include his siblings, Leonel Gonzalez Jr., Maria E. Gonzalez Guzman, Mirtala Gonzalez Garza, Norma Nora Gonzalez, and Nicolas Navarrete also his 14 grandchildren, his extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 31, 2023, from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Viewing continues on Tuesday, August 01, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., going to Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in Roma at 10:00 a.m. followed burial at Queen of Peace Cemetery in Roma, Texas at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
