Felipe Mejia, Age, 65, passed away on Tuesday June 08, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center. He was born in Mexico, on May 26, 1956 to Leonardo and Benita N. Mejia. He was a great son, husband, father, brother, and a good friend to all. He will be dearly missed by all. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leonardo and Benita N. Mejia. He is survived by his wife, Aida Aracely G. Mejia and his children, Jose Mejia, Felipe Mejia Jr., Aracely Mejia. Survivors also include his 3 grandchildren, Jose Miguel Mejia, Felipe Mejia III, Deborah Abigail Mejia. Visitation will be on Thursday June 10, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a chapel service at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday June 11, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am follow Burial at El Arroyo Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 10:20 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
