Faustino Lopez Jr.'s Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Faustino Lopez Jr., age, 84, who entered eternal rest on Thursday, June 27, 2024, in his residence in Garciasville, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Faustino was born on July 22, 1939, in Garciasville, Texas. He was the son of Faustino and Genoveva Contreras Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, nephew, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Florinda Bazan Lopez and their sons, Fernando Lopez, Faustino Lopez III. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Janice Lopez and Fernando Lopez Jr., his siblings, Juanita Garcia, Asusena Salinas, Jose Luis Lopez along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family. The Lopez Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The visitation service will be on Sunday, June 30, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City (701 E. Eisenhower Rd in Rio Grande City, 78582). The recital of the service will begin at 5:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Monday, July 01, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am. Followed by Burial at Eloy Garza Cemetery in Garciasville, Texas at 12:00 pm. Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City is in charge of funeral arrangements.
