With profound sadness and heartfelt love, we announce the passing of Eulogio V. Zarate, age 73, of La Grulla, Texas, who entered eternal rest on May 31, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Eulogio was born on March 12, 1953, to the late Eulogio Zarate and Ernestina Villarreal. Throughout his life, he was known for his unwavering devotion to his family, his strong values, and his generous spirit. He touched the lives of many through his kindness, wisdom, and dedication to those he loved.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Irene Zarate, with whom he shared a lifetime of love, companionship, and cherished memories. He also leaves behind his loving children: Erika Zarate, Eulogio Zarate IV, Eddieberto Zarate, Eric Anthony Zarate, and Ethan Tomas Zarate, who will forever treasure his guidance, love, and example.
Eulogio is also survived by his dear siblings: Delia De La Garza, Elvia Zarate Ramirez, Dalia Flores, Nilda Flores, Roel Omar Zarate, Reynaldo Zarate, Oscar David Zarate, Aide Martinez, and Nelda Zarate. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a cherished great-grandfather to two great-grandchildren, all of whom brought immense joy and pride to his life.
Eulogio's legacy will live on through the family he loved so deeply and the countless memories he created with those fortunate enough to know him. His strength, compassion, and dedication to family will continue to inspire generations to come.
Though he will be greatly missed, his love remains forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
May he rest in eternal peace.
