Eulalio "Lalo" Cantu's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Eulalio (Lalo) Cantu, on Monday, October 03, 2022 at the age, of 70, in McAllen, Texas. Eulalio, was a dearly loving father, husband, son, brother, grand-father, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Eulalio, was born on April 22, 1952 in Illinois. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Hermilo Cantu Sr. + and Merced Contreras Cantu+ also by his siblings+. He is survived his loving wife, Alma Rosa Villarreal Cantu and his loving daughters, Mellisa Cantu (Hector) Arteaga, Barbara Cantu (Ivan) Gomez and Cynthia Cantu (David) Garza. Survivors also include his loving 8 grandchildren, and his loving sister, Odilia Cantu Vela, also by his loving brothers, Hermilo Cantu Jr., Felix Cantu and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday, October 06, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday, October 07, 2022 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Follow Burial at Family Cantu Cemetery in La Grulla at 12:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
