Estela Leal's Obituary
Estela Leal, 68, passed away Friday September 25, 2020 in Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. She was born on May 02, 1952 in Rio Grande City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Maximo Pena Jr., and Maria del Pilar Vela Pena and her son, Armando Leal. She is survived by her husband, Lorenzo Leal and her children, Edna Rosa, Yvonne Rosa, Graciela Pineda and Maria Garcia, Roberto Leal. Survivors also include her 13 grandchildren and numerous greatgrandchildren. Viewing will be held on Tuesday September 29, 2020 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday September 30, 2020 from 8:00 am to 10:45 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
