On November 27, 2025, Estela Elizondo passed away suddenly at Starr County Memorial Hospital at the age of 68.
Estela was born on 01/21/1957 in Rio Grande City, Texas, to Jose Elizondo Jr. and Sylvia Guadalupe Elizondo. She worked at the Starr County Memorial Hospital for over 35 years. Estella retired and dedicated her retirement years to her friends and family.
Estela was preceded in death by her parents Jose Elizondo Jr. and Sylvia Guadalupe Elizondo.
She is survived by her brother Horacio Elizondo (Micaela) and her sister Romana Leal (David) and nephews and nieces.
Estela will be remembered for her friendly welcoming demeanor and her undeniable love for her family and friends.
Funeral arrangements will be provided by Hernandez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City, Texas.
