Erika Hernandez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Erika Hernandez, on Tuesday March 01, 2022 at the age of 46, in McAllen, Texas. She was our dearly loved wife, daughter, sister, mother, aunt, and friend. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Espiridion Ortega and Teresa Santillan. She is survived by her loving husband, Fabian Hernandez and her loving daughter, Ximena Hernandez. Survivors also include her siblings, San Juanita Ortega Maron, Israel Ortega, Hilario Ortega and Guadalupe Ortega, Aide Ortega, Enrique Ortega and cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family. Visitation will be held on Friday March 04, 2022 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in La Joya, Texas. Viewing continues on Saturday March 05, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am at Hernandez Funerals in La Joya, Texas going to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saint in La Joya at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Sullivan City, Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing.
