Emilia Contreras Diaz, aged 66, passed away peacefully at the hospital in Rio Grande City, TX this past Sunday January 5, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents Alejo Contreras and Encarnacion Solis. She is survived by her husband Jesus Diaz Jr. and 3 offspring: Eliamer Diaz, Terecita Diaz, and Nicolas Diaz. She is also survived by nine siblings: Estefana Garcia, Ernestina Ortiz, Eulalia Flores, Esperanza Lopez, Elma Villarreal, Francisco Contreras, Feliz Contreras, Alejo Contreras Jr. and Juan Contreras. He is additionally survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City, TX.
