Emeterio Hernandez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Emeterio Hernandez, on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at the age, of 76, in McAllen, Texas. Emeterio, was a dearly loved father, son, brother, grand-father, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Emeterio, was born on March 3, 1946 in La Pila, S.L.P. Mexico, to Jose Hernandez and Guadalupe Avila Hernandez. He is preceded in death by his loving parents+. He is survived by his loving wife, Evangelina De Luna Hernandez and his loving children, Juan Luis Hernandez, Fabian Hernandez and Milagros Hernandez, Fernando Perez. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Tomasa Ledezma, Nicolasa Hernandez, Bonne Hernandez, Raul Hernandez and Maria Hernandez, Antonina Hernandez, Eusebio Hernandez also by his 6 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday, August 19, 2022 from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday August 20, 2022 from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm going to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Sullivan City at 1:00 pm. Follow Burial at Sullivan City Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in La Joya.
