Elvia Esquivel Guerrero's Obituary
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Elvia Esquivel Guerrero, age, 76, who entered eternal rest on Sunday, June 02, 2024, in Mcallen, Texas. Elvia was born on May 26, 1948 in Zacatecas, Mexico. She was the daughter of Tomas and Isabel M. Esquivel. She is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jesus R. Guerrero+ and her silblings, Graciela E. (Tomas) Contreras+, Joaquin Esquivel+, Jose Medina+. Elvia was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grandmother, niece, and aunt. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Francisco Guerrero and their children, Juan Guerrero, Maria Isabel Guerrero, Hector Hugo Guerrero. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 1 greatgrandchildren, her silblings, Amparo (Jose Luis) De La Rosa, Margarita (Antonio) Rodriguez along with numerous nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family. She always put the Lord first, and always wanted to help others. The Guerrero Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of her life. The visitation service will be on Tuesday, June 04, 2024, from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City (701 E. Eisenhower Rd in Rio Grande City, 78582). The recital of the service will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 05, 2024, from 8:00 am to 11:30 am with a chapel service at 10:30 am. Followed by Burial at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla, Texas at 12:00 pm. Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City is in charge of funeral arrangements.
