Elvia Rosa Acevedo's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Elvia Rosa Acevedo, on Friday, September 23, 2022 at the age, of 60, in McAllen, Texas. Elvia, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Elvia, was born on February 18, 1962 in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ismael Vela Sr., and Celia Bazan Vela+ and her loving brothers, sisters.+ She is survived her loving husband, Salvador Acevedo III, and her loving children, Salvador Acevedo IV, Angie Acevedo, Melissa Acevedo and Freddy Acevedo, Andy Cortez. Survivors also include her loving brothers and sisters and her 14 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday September 28, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Follow by Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
