Elva C. Flores' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing Elva C. Flores, age, 89, on Friday, November 11, 2022 at Mission Regional Medical Center. Elva, was a dearly wife, mother, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on February 26, 1933 in La Grulla, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Ramon de La Cruz+ and Viviana R. Rivera+ also by her loving husband, Pedro Flores+. She is survived by her loving children, Alma (Juan) Carreno of La Victoria, Pete (Gloria) Flores of La Victoria, and Gracie (Robert) Carrera of Alto Bonito, Ramon (Sylvina) Flores of Alto Bonito. Survivors also include her 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grand-children also her 2 sisters, Elisa C. Flores, Ramona C. Olivarez. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, November 13, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday November 14, 2022 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 1:00 pm. Follow burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
