Elma G. Becerra's Obituary
Elma G. Becerra passed away Monday, April 19, 2021, at Starr County Memorial Hospital. She was born on October 17, 1942, in Rio Grande City, Texas to Benito and Juanita R. Becerra. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Jose Ismael Becerra and her brothers. She is survived by her 4 daughters, Sandra (Lupe) Rivera, Elma (Victor) Vasquez, Irma Becerra and Benita (Jorge) Gutierrez. Survivors include her 4 grandchildren, Jorge Jr (Arlene), Jose Tomas (Olivia), Victor Jr and Ashlee also her 3 great grandchildren Sofia, Manuel and Javier Vasquez. She is also survived by siblings, Adela G. Ramirez, Francisca G. Lopez, Basilia G. Cadena and Ernesto Gonzalez, Santos Gonzalez and Donancio Gonzalez. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funeral Home in Rio Grande City on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a Rosary at 5:30 pm follow by a Blessing Service at 6:30 pm. Follow by Cremation on Friday.
