Elizabeth Iris Lopez, age, 67, passed away on Friday, June 09, 2023 at her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by her family. She was born on February 13, 1956 in Rio Grande City. She is preceded in death by her parents, Juan Rosales Alanis+ and Amelia Flores Alanis+ and her husband, Jose Luis Lopez+. She is survived by her son, Jose Luis Lopez Jr, her daughter, Elizabeth M. Lopez. Survivors also include her siblings, Anestacio Alanis, Maria Guadalupe Alanis Garcia and San Juanita Alianis Guerra and her 2 grand-daughters, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. No viewing its going to be Direct Cremation. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
