Elena Guerrero Villarreal, age, 81, went to be with God on Wednesday November 20, 2019 in Mission Regional Hospital surrounded by her family. She was born on May 04, 1938 in Santa Gertrudis, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her parents; Andres Guerrero and Wencelada Chapa Guerrero also by her husband; Ignacio Villarreal; her grandson an Infant Victor Villarreal; Her brothers: Zaragoza Guerrero, Abel Guerrero. She is survived by her children, Juan (Norma) Villarreal, Ignacio (Victoria) Villarreal, Elena (Rene) Villarreal Garza, Odilia (Victor Manuel) Briseno, Victor (Blanca) Villarreal, Aracely (Francisco) Guerrero, Daniel Villarreal. She is also survived by her sisters, Alicia Trevino, Librada Sanchez, and her brother, Andres Guerrero also by her 17 grand-children, 22 great-grand-children also by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends.Visitation will be held on, Thursday, November 21, 2019 at Hernandez Funerals from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday November 22, 2019 from 8:00 am to 2:15 pm going to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rio Grande City at 2:30 pm follow to Gutierrez Family Cemetery in La Victoria at 4:00 pm.
