With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Eduardo Vela, on Monday, October 03, 2022 at the age, of 64, in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Eduardo, was a dearly loving father, husband, son, brother, grand-father, nephew, and friend. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. Eduardo, was born on June 13, 1958 in Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his loving father, Tomas Vela Jr.+. He is survived by his loving mother, Anita Pena Vela and his loving wife, Adrianna Rodriguez Vela also by his loving sons, Tomas (Nelly) Vela, Eduardo Vela Jr. Survivors also include his loving sister, Elizabeth Garza and his loving brothers, Elijio Vela, Alejandro Vela and her 6 grand-children, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Funerals are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, in Rio Grande City.
