Dora Vela Rodriguez, age 86, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family. She was born on July 31, 1939, in La Casita Ranch, Texas, to Pedro Vela and Camila Ozuna.
Dora was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend whose kindness and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her. She dedicated her life to her family, always offering support, wisdom, and a warm heart.
She is survived by her beloved children, Ricardo Rodriguez, Sonia Y. Rodriguez, Sandra Y. Rodriguez, and Maria G. Gonzalez. She is also survived by her loving sister, San Juanita Barrera/Javier Barrera.
Dora was preceded in death by her cherished son, Anselmo Ramos Jr., whose memory she carried in her heart throughout her life.
She was blessed with the joy of watching her family grow and leaves behind her treasured grandchildren: Gilberto Rodriguez/LeeSandra Olivarez, April Ramos, Juan Antonio Ramos, and Vanna Falcon. She also leaves behind her precious great-grandchild, Giuliana G. Cardenas, who brought her immense happiness she will also be missed by all her nieces and nephews.
Dora will be remembered for her loving spirit, her resilience, and the deep love she had for her family. Her gentle presence, caring heart, and the many memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Though she will be deeply missed, her legacy will live on through the generations she helped shape. May she rest in eternal peace.
