Donaciano (Chano) Reyna's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Donaciano (Chano) Reyna, age, 93, on Thursday, March 09, 2023 in his residence in La Grulla, Texas. Donaciano, was a loving son, father, husband, brother, uncle, grand-father, great-grandfather he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on May 24, 1929 in Winters, Texas. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Pompeo Reyna+ and Cruz Cerrano Reyna+ also by his wife, Armandina Saenz Reyna+ and his 6 brothers+ and 4 sisters+ and 2 grandkids+. He is survived by his loving children, Antonio (Monica) Reyna, Rosalinda (Estaben) Gonzalez, and Cristina (Alberto) Reyna, Thelma Reyna Perez (Jose Armando) Ortiz. Survivors also include his brothers, Felix Reyna, Isidro Reyna and his sister, Maria De La Luz Martinez also by his 10 grandchildren, Eduardo Reyna, Antonio Reyna Jr., Estaben Elias Gonzalez, Orlando Lee Gonzalez, Diego Dallas Gonzalez, and Stephanie Russell, Ninakay Russell, Victoria Flores, Mariano Perez, Marina Perez and 5 great-grandchildren, Alyssa Reyna, Eduardo Reyna Jr., Isabella Rose Gonzalez and Logan Harman, Charles Harman and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday March 13, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Follow Burial at Ruben Solis Cemetery in La Grulla at 12:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
