Delia Guerra Hernandez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Delia Guerra Hernandez, age, 86, on Monday, December 19, 2022 at her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas, surrounded by her loving family. Delia, was a dearly mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on April 30, 1936 in Las Viboras Ranch in El Sauz, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Alejandro Guerra+ and Raquel Reyna Guerra+. She is survived by her loving husband, Ventura Hernandez, and her loving sons, Jose Luis (Judy) Hernandez, Noel (Dora Lisa) Hernandez and her loving daughter, Diana (Erasmo) Canales. Survivors also include her 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday December 22, 2022 from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Follow burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
