David Garza, age 61, passed away on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was born on December 14, 1961 in Rio Grande City, Texas. David, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his father, Eutimio Garza+ and his son, David Garza Jr+. He is survived by his mother, Elida R. Garza. Survivors also include his siblings, Andrea G. Vela, Maria A. Alvarado, Jose G. Garza, Roy Garza, and Israel Garza, Evelyn Garza, Lorena Garza, his extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 01, 2023 from 12:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Viewing continues on Wednesday, August 02, 2023, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. with a chapel service at 12:00 p.m. followed burial at La Puerta Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
