Dalinda Torres Vda de Portillo, Age, 85, passed away on Sunday, May 09, 2021, at McAllen Medical Center. She was born on November 20, 1935, in Camargo, Tamps, Mexico, to Francisco and Eloisa O. Torres. She is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco and Eloisa O. Torres and her husband, Jesus Portillo. She is survived by her children, Gerardo Portillo, Maria del Carmen Portillo, Santos Portillo, Fernanda Portillo, Ana Delia Portillo and Maria de Jesus Portillo, San Juanita Portillo, Eloisa Portillo, Jesus Portillo Jr, Dalinda Portillo. Survivors also include and her 43 grand-children, 51 great-grand-children. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Visitation will take place at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Thursday May 13, 2021 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am with a chapel service at 10:00 am follow to St. John's Cemetery in Rio Grande City at 11:30 am.
