Cruz Bazan Jr., age 67, passed away on Wednesday May 22, 2019 in his Rio Grande Regional Hospital in McAllen. Born and raised in La Casita, the son of Cruz Bazan Sr. and Enriqueta Villarreal Bazan. He leaves his wife, Diana Segura; his children, Merelda Bazan (Mario) Gonzalez, Gloria Bazan (Pablo) Barrientes, Merari Bazan (Luis) Diaz, Gabriel (Imelda) Bazan, Erika Bazan (Gilberto) Lopez, Cruz (Aurora) Bazan III. He is also survived his sisters, Susana Vela, Adela Vela, Florinda Lopez, Ramona Lopez also by his 21 grandkids; 12 great grand kids. Visitation will be held Friday May 24, 2019 From: 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Service at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday May 25, 2019 From: 8:00 am to 12:30 pm going to Our Lady of Peace Church in La Casita at 1:00 pm follow to La Casita Cemetery at 2.00 pm. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
