Cosilia F. Cruz's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Cosilia F. Cruz, on Friday, August 26, 2022 at the age, of 97, in her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Cosilia, was a dearly loving mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-mother, great-grand-mother, great-great-grand-mother, niece, and friend. She will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. Cosilia, was born on January 02, 1925 in San Carlos Ranch. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Eluterio Falcon, and Encarnacion Guerra Falcon+, + also by her loving husband, Maximo Cruz+. She is survived by her loving children, Arturo (Maria Tomasita) Cruz, Alvaro (Maria Alicia) Cruz, and Armandina (Homero) Rodriguez, Alberto (San Juanita) Cruz. Survivors also include her 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grand-children, 3 great-great-grand-children and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Monday August 29, 2022 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 30, 2022 8:00 am to 1:45 pm, going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 2:00 pm. Follow Burial at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 3:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
