Consuelo C. Posada's Obituary
Rio Grande City/La Grulla TX- Mrs. Consuelo C. Posada, 85 died on Saturday December 28, 2019 at Mission Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on April 23, 1934 in La Grulla, Texas to Alcadio De La Cruz & Victorina Solis De La Cruz. She is preceded in death by her husband, Gilberto Posada, her parents, her brothers, Cruz Flores Sr,. Enrique Flores Sr,. Sisters, Francisca Medelez and Florinda Guajardo. She is survived by her children, Jesus A. (Maria del Jesus) Rodriguez of Skidmore, Tx, Guadalupe (Alberto) Martinez of Alamo, Tx, Anna M. (Ricardo) Castellanos of Toppenish, WA and Ida Martinez of La Grulla Tx. Survivors also include 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grand-children. Consuelo enjoyed spending time with family, listening to music, playing bingo and watering her rosas. She will be greatly missed by everyone whose heart she touched. Visitation will be held on Monday December 30, 2019 at Hernandez Funeral Home from 1:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a rosary at 7:00 pm. Visitation continues on Tuesday December 31, 2019 from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 2:00 pm. Burial Service held at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla at 3:00 pm. Service are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals of Rio Grande City.
