Clyde Thatcher's Obituary
Clyde Thatcher, 92, passed away on Sunday, June 09, 2024, at his residence in La Victoria, surrounded by his loving family. Clyde was born October 27, 1931, in Zapata, Texas to George and Francisca Farias Thatcher. He is preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife, Graciela Solis Thatcher. He was a loving father, son, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, nephew, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Clyde Thatcher Jr., Lillian T. (Elvis) Perez, and Yvette T. (Rene) Peña; his five grandchildren, and his thirteen great-grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The Thatcher Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Visitation will be held on Tuesday June 11, 2024, at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. The recital of the service will begin at 6:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Grace Point Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Family Thatcher Cemetery in La Victoria at 11:00 am. The Thatcher Family has entrusted the care of the funeral director and staff at Hernandez Funerals, LLC to handle funeral arrangements.
