Charles Henry Young's Obituary
Charles Henry Young, 83, passed away on Friday, June 14, 2024, at his residence in Delmita, Texas, surrounded by his loving family. Charles was born September 26, 1940, in Shepherd, Texas to Thomas B. Young and Leeola Shrader Young. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings. He was a loving husband, nephew, and uncle. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Elvia G. Young of 43 years. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends. The Young Family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 16, 2024, at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm. The recital of the rosary will begin at 4:00 pm. Viewing will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. The Young Family has entrusted the care of the funeral director and staff at Hernandez Funerals, LLC to handle funeral arrangements.
