1972 and 1973; took La Grulla kids to Rio for Track Meet. He was so proud of us.
I can remember him walking around cafeteria keeping order, he had a way with kids, he'd turn over his graduation ring and rap us on the head if we needed it. This was the early 70s you know.
"ACE", if he called you Ace, you knew you were alright.
Marbles, he took many a marble from us. If you were in his office and he'd open his desk drawer you could hear them rolling around in there.
La Faja Escondida (hide the belt), game we used to play at end of school day while waiting on buses. He thought it was funny, kept his distance, made sure things did not get out of hand.
Definitely One of the Good Guys. Left an impression on lots of people.
God Bless Him.
