Carolina Lopez Chavez, age, 54, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center Hospital in Mcallen, Texas. She was born on November 07,1966 in Miguel Aleman, Tamps, Mexico. She is survived by her husband, Omar Chavez, and her sons, Gustavo Mercado, Omar Chavez Jr, and her daughter, Jazime Chavez. Viewing is going to be on Saturday February 13, 2021 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday February 16, from 8:00 am to 10;30 am follow burial to Rio Grande City Cemetery at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
