Blas Pedro Saenz, age 85, passed away on Tuesday January 10, 2017 at his house in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by his family. He was born on July 13, 1931 in Sal Colorada in La Gloria, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Pedro A. Saenz., (+) and by his mother Zuelma J. Saenz (+) and by his wife Elia G. Saenz (+), and by his sister Elma S. Villarreal (+). He is survived by his wife, Lydia Garza and by his children, Blas P. (Nilda) Saenz Jr., Cynthia Valdez, Celinda S. (Luis) Alvarado, Graciela S. (George) Requenez. And also by his sister America S. (Manuel) Elizondo, and by his 8 grand-children, Clarrisa A. Perez, Alyssa R. Bardwell, Miguel G. Valdez, Daniel J. Requenez, Pedro A. Saenz, Jaime J. Requenez, Lisa A. Saenz, Jacobo A. Saenz. And also by3 his great-grand-children, Maya L. Perez, William e. Bardwell, Leah I. Perez.
