Betty Ruth Chamberlain Lung's Obituary
Betty Ruth Chamberlain Lung, Age 95, passed away on Friday, August 4 in her home in Rio Grande City. Betty graduated as a registered nurse from Washington University, in St. Louis, Missouri. She is preceded in death by her husband, Leland Ray Lung, her father, Claude Chamberlain, her mother, Katherine Chamberlain, her two brothers, Robert Chamberlain and Alfred Chamberlain. Her sole surviving sibling is her sister Georgia Mason, of Avon Park, Florida. Her two sons, David Ray Lung, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at South Texas College, of Rio Grande City, and Lawrence Lee Lung, of Winston, Oregon, look forward to sharing with her the details of the momentous times that she will have missed when they welcome her back to life in the resurrection here on earth (John 5:28, 29; Psalms 37:29). Virtual funeral services will be held through Zoom on Friday, August 14th.
