Bernarda C. Cedillo, age, 82, gained her wings on Wednesday, August 16, 2023, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She was born on August 20, 1940 in La Casita, Texas. Bernarda, was a loving daughter, sister, wife, aunt. Bernarda loved to be celebrated in any way, she was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She is proceeded in death by her parents, Francisco Chapa+, and Martha Bazan Chapa+. also by her husband, Lucio Cedillo+. She is survived by her sister, Hilaria Orta and her nieces and nephews, Francisco Chapa, Jorge Chapa, Sabas Chapa, Martha Alicia Lopez, Ramon De La Cruz, Jose De La Cruz Jr., Natalia Bury, Juan De La Cruz, Natividad Solis Ibanez, Raymundo Solis, and Rosalva Solis, Nelia Guerra, Rafael Solis, Alberto Chapa, Alejandro Chapa, Arnulfo Chapa, Raquel Bazan, San Juanita Chapa, Hernan Cortez. Survivors also include her extended family, all of whom she loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 17, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.. Viewing continues on Friday, August 18, 2023 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. going to Our Lady of Peace Church in La Casita at 10:00 a.m. followed by Burial at La Casita Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
