Benjamin Lauro Rodriguez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Benjamin Lauro Rodriguez, age, 75, on Friday, January 20, 2023 in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. Benjamin, was a dearly son, father, husband, brother, uncle he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on March 26, 1947 in Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Manuel Rodriguez+ and Tomas Garcia Rodriguez also by his loving wife, Emma G. Rodriguez+ and by his daughter Vicenta Rodriguez +. He is survived by her loving sisters, Maria Elena Rodriguez and Maria Isabel Rodriguez. Survivors also include her friend Nery Mendez and her loving daughters Samanda Gonzalez, Manuela Gonzalez, Celina Gonzalez his and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Sunday, January 29, 2023 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm wit a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Monday January 30, 2023 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with a Chapel Service at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
