Benilde V. Diaz's Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Benilde V. Diaz of La Grulla, Texas, on Monday, January 03, 2022, at the age of 86, in Rio Grande City, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernesto and Patricia Villarreal and her siblings. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband, Efrain Diaz and her loving daughter, Alma Gomez, her sons, Efrain Diaz Jr., Javier Diaz, Abel Diaz. Survivors also include her 9 grand-children, 2 great-grand-children as well as numerous relatives and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, January 06, 2022 at Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday January 07, 2022 from 8:00 am - 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City.
