Belta V. Lopez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Belta V. Lopez, age, 89, on Friday, January 06, 2023 in her residence in Rio Grande City, Texas surrounded by her loving family. Belta, was a dearly daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grand-mother, great-grandmother she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on August 28, 1933 in Refugio Ranch, in Starr County, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Victor Valadez+ and Elodia Rios+ also by her loving husband, Jesus Maria Lopez Sr.,+. She is survived by her loving daughters, San Juanita E. Lopez, Leticia L. Lopez, and Gloria A. Rios also by her loving sons, Roberto Juan (Veronica) Lopez and Jesus Maria Lopez Jr. Survivors also include her loving 9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren also her loving sisters, Dora & Olga and her loving brother, Alfonso Valadez and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Monday, January 09, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday January 10, 2023 from 8:00 am to pending going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City.... Follow Burial in Family Lopez Cemetery in Rio Grande City... Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and Family Lopez is requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
