Beatriz Benitez's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Beatriz Benitez, age, 75, on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 in McAllen, Texas. Beatriz, was a dearly daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt, grand-mother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on June 16, 1947 in Miguel Aleman, Tamps, Mexico. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Flujencio Ramirez+ and Virginia Garza+ also her 2 loving grandchildren+. She is survived by her loving husband, Astolfo Benitez, her loving sons, Juan Pablo (Norma) Benitez, and Astolfo (Perla) Benitez Jr., also by her loving daughter, Beatriz Adriana Benitez (James Robert) Sides. Survivors also include her loving 7 grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Thursday, January 12, 2023 from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday January 13, 2023 from 8:00 am to 12:30 pm going to St. Paul Church in La Puerta at 1:00 pm. Follow Burial in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery in Weslaco, Texas at 3:30 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
