Baltazar Barrera, 79, passed away Monday September 28, 2020 in his residence in Rio Grande City, Texas. He was born on February 18, 1941 in Mexico. He is preceded in death by his parents, Remigio and Francisca Barrera and his wife, Lucila Rodriguez Barrera, his son, Baltazar Barrera Jr. He is survived by his daughters, Norma (Carlos) Alvarado, Leticia (Herbey)Rodriguez. Survivors also include his 4 grandchildren. Viewing is going to be held on Thursday October 01, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday October 02, 2020 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a service at 6:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
