Aurelio Garza Sr., age, 94, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2023 at McAllen, Texas. He was born on July 27,1929 in Harlingen, Texas. Aurelio was a dearly loved husband, son, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, greart-great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his parents, Bartolo Garza+ and Maria Garza+, his wife Audelia Garcia Garza+, and his grand-daughter, Zelda Garza+. He is survived by his children, Rosa (Steve) Gay, Diana (Carlos) Tobias and Aurelio (Elvira) Garza Jr., Juanita (Janie) Saenz. Survivors also include his 8 grandchildren,13 great-grandchildren,1 great-great-granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Faustino Garza, Gabriela Navarro and Daisy Segura for their friendship, love, and support. The Garza family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of his life. The Garza family will receive family and friends on Thursday December 21, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Friday December 22, 2023, from 8:00 am to 9:45 am going to Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City at 10:00 am follow burial to El Perdido Ranch Cemetery in Santa Elena at 11:30 am. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
