Arcadia R. Garza's Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Arcadia R. Garza, age, 80, on Saturday, March 11, 2023 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Arcadia, was a loving daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, great-grandmother, she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She was born on October 29, 1942 in La Grulla, Texas. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Esteban Reyes+ and Maria Solis Reyes+ and her husband, Ramiro Garza+. She is survived by her loving children, Geronimo (Ayda) Garza, Anne Belle Garza, Antonia (Mario) Rojas, Armandina Montes. Survivors also include her loving siblings, Alicia Vela, Juana Vela, Adelaide Reyes, and Patricia Ramirez, Esteban Reyes, Roberto Reyes. Survivors also include her 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Monday March 13, 2023 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Tuesday March 14, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Our Lady of Peace Church in La Casita at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at La Casita Cemetery at 11:30 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
