Apolonio Garcia, age 71, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 in Edinburg, Texas. He was born on May 06, 1952, in Mier, Tamps, Mexico. Apolonio, was a loving husband, son, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, great-grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, Aplonio Garcia Villa+ and Maria Del Refugio V. Garcia+, and his daughter, Armandina Garcia+. He is survived by his wife, Maria Victoria Almaguer Garcia, and his children, Apolonio (Juana Maria) Garcia Jr., Bertha Alicia Garcia (Israel) Ortiz, Maria Victoria (Roy) Reyes, Armandina (Steven) Merkt and Apolonio Garcia IV, Jesus Garcia, Keyla N. Garcia. As well as his siblings, also his 12 grandchildren, 1 great-granddaughter and his extended family, all of whom he loved dearly. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Viewing continues on Monday, August 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a rosary at 6:00 p.m. Viewing continues on Tuesday August 22, 2023 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. going to Santa Rosa de Lime Church in Roma at 11:00 a.m. followed by Cremation. Funeral services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals, LLC, in Rio Grande City.
