Anselmo Rene Alaniz's Obituary
With deep sorrow, but also with immense love and gratitude, we announce the passing of Anselmo René Alaniz, who was born on November 28, 1933, in Rio Grande City, Texas, and departed from this world on March 27, 2026.
Son of Jovino Alaniz and María Barrera, Anselmo lived a life guided by faith, hard work, and above all, love for his family.
He was an exemplary husband to his beloved wife, Josefina L. Alaniz, with whom he shared a life full of love, respect, and unforgettable memories. As a father, he was a strong and loving pillar for his children: Juventino R. Alaniz, Ricardo Alaniz, Sonia E. González, and Graciela A. González, who always found in him support, wisdom, and unconditional love.
His greatest pride also included his 12 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren, whom he filled with joy, guidance, and special moments that will live on forever in their hearts.
Anselmo will be remembered for his kindness, his strength, and the special way he cared for and loved his family. His departure leaves an immense void, but his legacy of love will endure for generations.
He will forever live in the hearts of those who loved him.
May he rest in peace.
