Anika Lea Coleman's Obituary
Anika Lea Coleman, age, 33, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2023 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was born on February 26, 1990 in Rio Grande City. Anika, was a loving daughter, mother, sister, partner, niece, grand-daughter she will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She is survived by her parents, Armando Cerda and Alicia Garza, and her son, Liam Aldo Coleman. Survivors also include her grand-mother and her brother, Eric Eloy Garza, her partner, Vince Kamms and her step-brothers & sisters, Juan Miguel, Rosa Elena, Martin Armando, and Alma Patricia, Maria Lourdes Cerda Saenz and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom she loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Tuesday June 27, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Wednesday June 28, 2023 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm with a chapel service at 12:00 pm. Follow Burial at Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Mission at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
