Ana Maria Salinas' Obituary
RIO GRANDE CITY – Ana Maria Carrera Salinas, age, 79 passed away on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, at Ascension Seton Medical Center in Austin, Texas. She was born on October 09, 1942 in Rio Grande City to Santana Carrera and Benita Valadez Carrera. She was a great daughter, mother, wife, sister, aunt and a good friend to all. She will be dearly missed by all. She is preceded in death by her loving parents, Santana Carrera and Benita Valadez Carrera also by her loving brothers, Eladio Carrera, and Homero O. Carrera, also by her loving sisters, Benita C. Escobar and Alicia Carrera. She is survived by her loving husband, Ezequiel Salinas, and her loving son, David Ezequiel Salinas. Survivors also include her loving sister, Maria Imelda Carrera, her nieces and nephews. Visitation is going to be held on Friday May 27, 2022 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from 8:00 am to 12:45 pm going to Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Rio Grande City at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Rio Grande City Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID-19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Services are entrusted to Hernandez Funerals in Rio Grande City, TX.
