Alvaro Omar Solis' Obituary
With great sorrow, we announce the passing of Alvaro Omar Solis, age, 72, on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Mission, Texas. Alvaro, was a loving son, brother, uncle, he will be greatly missed by his beloved family and close friends. He was born on August 03, 1950 in La Grulla, Texas. He is preceded in death by his father, Sabino Solis+ and his brothers, Alejandro Solis+ and Jose Angel Solis+. He is survived by his loving mother, Alicia De La Cruz Solis. Survivors also include his loving siblings, Romeo (Yolanda) Solis, Ovidio Solis and Noemi (Rafael) Garza, Maria Del Rosario (Jose Alfredo) Alvirde and many cousins, nieces, nephews, and extended family, all whom he loved dearly. Visitation is going to be on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing continues on Saturday February 18, 2023 from 8:00 am to 9:30 am going to Holy Family Church in La Grulla, Texas at 10:00 am. Follow Burial at Los Solis's Cemetery in La Grulla, Texas at 11:00 am. Due to the current climate surrounding COVID -19, we are limiting the amount of visitors to our facility and requiring all guests to please wear a mask and observe social distancing. Funeral services are entrusted at Hernandez Funerals, LLC in Rio Grande City.
