Alma Nellie Lopez, age, 56, gained her wings on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, in Houston Texas. She was born on November 21, 1966 in Rio Grande City, Texas. Alma, was a loving daughter, wife, mother sister, wife, aunt. Alma loved to be celebrated in any way, she was one of a kind that will be greatly missed by her beloved family and close friends. She is proceeded in death by her mother, Dalinda Garza+ and her son, Rolando Lopez+. She is survived by her husband, Basilio Lopez her son, Daniel (Amiry) Lopez and her father, Eleazar Garza. Survivors also include her loving granddaughters, Hennessy, Klarissa and Jazlyn Lopez and her siblings, Eleazar Garza Jr., Annette Garza, Ervey Garza and her extended family, all of whom she loved dearly. The family invites you to join them in a celebration of faith in remembrance of her life. Viewing will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2023 from 12:00 pm – 8:00 pm with a rosary at 6:00 pm. Viewing will continue on Friday September 15, 2023 from 8:00 am – 1:45 pm. The family also invites you to accompany them to mass in honor of Alma at Immaculate Church in Rio Grande City, Texas at 2:00 pm. Followed by her burial at 3:00 pm at Rio Grande City Cemetery.
